The Research Department at St. Joseph’s Health Centre is part of the St. Joseph’s Health System Research Network. Its main goal is to work with staff, residents, patients, participants and their families to explore ways to improve the quality of care for our residents and patients. St. Joe's has a long-standing tradition of excellence and is committed to continually searching for ways to do things better.

The Research Department recently completed a project looking at the impact of the move from the old St. Joseph's Hospital and Home to our new building in 2002. We also are part of a system-wide examination of the quality of work life and participated in the survey of staff that was carried out in 2003.

Currently, we're surveying our residents, patients and their families to determine their satisfaction with the care we provide at St. Joseph's.
